Frequently Asked Questions

How does the effectiveness of Sacred Healing Tree Therapy compare to other alternative methods of treatment?

Historically, Sacred Healing Tree therapy has provided the same level of treatment success in fewer than half the number of recommended acupuncture sessions, usually without the use of herbs. This is due, in part, to the amount of time dedicated to the treatment of each individual. Fewer sessions are necessary versus chiropractic and physical therapy treatments. Sacred Healing Tree therapy provides relief to those for whom surgery was an only resort.

Is Sacred Healing Tree Therapy safe and effective in conjunction with other treatments?

Sacred Healing Tree therapy does not conflict, by nature, with any other treatment modalities and is highly recommended to enhance the effectiveness of any other treatment regimen.

Are there any risks associated with therapy?

Everyone seeking healing intervention will benefit from Sacred Healing Tree Therapy; the elderly, to infants, even pets. In the past 25 years of my healing arts practice there are no recorded injuries and extremely few unpredictable side effects reported resulting from treatment. Many positive side effects have been recorded even after cessation of treatment sessions, including complete spontaneous recovery.

Is the practitioner qualified to assess and treat ailments that have not been evaluated by a medical doctor?

Steven is highly trained to assess areas of imbalance in accordance with Chinese Medicine doctrine. If it is deemed necessary upon any examination, it may be recommended that a medical doctor conduct an evaluation first. If warranted, referrals to the appropriate health care specialists will be provided.

Steven is certified by the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia ™, which ensures an adequate level of formal education. However, the knowledge and experience accumulated over 30 years of healing practice makes a profound difference in the treatment outcome.

Will my insurance cover costs for this service?

No. Insurance companies do not recognize Asian Bodywork Therapy as a health care modality that meets their eligibility requirements. Most insurance do not cover the cost of treatments at this time. The health care system is gradually changing and may offer coverage for this service in the future. Many health care plans offer a Health Care Reimbursement option to recover out-of–pocket health care expenses which may be used to cover treatment costs.

Can I pay by credit card?

Absolutely! Discover, Mastercard, or Visa are acceptable methods of payment.
